My name is Reuben and I am a 23 year-old living in Washington, D.C. By day I am a legislative assistant. I have always enjoyed reading personal blogs and finally decided to take the complete dive and start my own. When not at work I enjoy reading, especially finding new blogs and reading back-posts all the way through to the first. I also like to cook, and listen to music. 

This blog is dedicated to the liberal arts, technology, and general curiosity. This is my little corner of the internet to share links and original thoughts on various topics. A lot will be technology related but other things will make their way in.

Tools I Use

Currently I either work at my desk pictured below or at Starbucks. I use a 2011 13” MacBook Air. I write in ByWord using Markdown, I then export the HTML and publish directly on the tumblr dashboard. I read on a 16gb iPad2, using Instapaper and Reeder. I tweet from my iPhone4 using tweetbot, my apps can be found here. I listen to music via Spotify either through a pair of old JBL speakers or these headphones or these. I write by hand in a Moleskin notebook or on an index card.
