On Wednesday, Oct 14, Adorama set me up with real models and pro lighting gear in the Flower District. I usually work with natural light and my kids, so this was a completely different experience. I learned a ton, and I had a blast doing it. Check out my whole portfolio here.

I’m constantly telling my directs to file tickets for everything they’re working on and to give robust standup updates, because in a remote world, that’s what fuels what I actually know about them. In this remote environment you can be working on a million things, but if you aren’t using a personal megaphone, it may look like you’re just phoning it in.
I love reading stories about dads being strong positive role models that fit who their kids are. Lots of fathers want their kids to conform to their vision for them, the dads who step back and become the fathers their kids need are truly remarkable.
